Total Network Monitor

Total Network Monitor è un software che permette di esercitare un continuo controllo sulla performance della vostra rete locale, sui computer separati, sulle utilità di sistema e di rete, cioè sui componenti essenziali del vostro ambiente di rete, che richiedono controllo e manutenzione. Total Network Monitor provvederà ad avvertire l'amministratore in caso di errori in modo da metterlo al corrente della situazione molto prima che il problema metta a rischio il funzionamento della rete o di una parte di essa. Il programma genera report dettagliati in cui vengono specificati il tipo e l`ora esatta dell'errore o guasto. In questa maniera, l'amministratore potrà sempre controllare tempestivamente il funzionamento di ogni utilità, server o file system: FTP, POP/SMTP, HTTP, IMAP, Registro, Registro Eventi, stato dei servizi e tanto altro. La mappa della rete e l'interfaccia amichevole renderanno ancora più comodo l'uso del programma. Sono ormai passati i tempi in cui l'amministratore doveva correre in continuazione da un computer all'altro per controllare le utilità e le applicazioni eppure non mancavano lamentele da parte degli utenti. Total Network Monitor permette di creare liste di monitoraggio e personalizzarle nel modo che più vi conviene. Basterà premere il pulsante "Check All Monitors" ("Verifica tutti i monitor") per avere informazioni aggiornate su tutti i computer e servizi in rete. Ogni progetto di monitoraggio include tre gruppi di elementi importanti: dispositivi, monitor e azioni. Per ogni dispositivo ci sono uno o più monitor (unità di controllo). Per ogni monitor sono previsti una verifica e una lista di azioni. Se la verifica dovesse non riuscire, il monitor provvederà ad eseguire le azioni necessarie per avvertire l'amministratore di eventuali errori o guasti. Con Total Network Monitor è veramente conveniente e comodo monitorare lo stato dei dispositivi e dei monitor.
