POPcon scarica le e-mail dalle mailbox POP3, POP3-SSL, IMAP e IMAP-SSL e le distribuisce alle cassette postali Exchange e Domino in base ai dati sul destinatario presenti nelle intestazioni delle e-mail. Il software è compatibile con Exchange Server 2010, 2007, 2003 e 2000 , Exchange Server 5.5 e tutte le versioni SBS di Exchange su Windows 2008 Server (x32 o x64), Windows 2003 Server (x32 o x64), Windows 2000, NT 4.0 e persino Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7. POPcon si installa come un sistema operativo e viene eseguito in background senza accesso da parte dell'utente.
